Hi there Karl,Thanks for the reply! I do have some builds on scalplasticcars.com but most of my build can be found in my posts on carthrottle. https://www.carthrottle.com/user/a2xp8vj/I'd like to wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year.

Hello Jos, thank you once again for re-visiting my site and replying to my comment. I have opened the link and you have some nice builds too. I really like that R32 you built, looks great with the other Skylines. Those exhausts you made are very realistic too, really like them too. Well done.

Thank for the wishes, I would like to wish you all the very best for the holiday season and all the best for the new year.

Hi there! Just wanted to say i love your work! Your builds, but also on the website. Clear explanations with pictures to go with that. Good job! I am a modeller myself, with a passion for jdm, but have yet to reach the finish and detail you display here. Maybe one day lol. I liked the review on the exhausts aswell. I have acces to a lathe and do make my own exhausts from 304 ss or aluminium. Mine look just a good, so happy about that. Well that's all. Bye!

Hello Jos, first of all thank you for visiting my site and taking the time to sign my guestbook. Your kind words about my work are very appreciated, I'm glad you like my work and the site itself. Yes I really liked the quality of the exhausts made by SMW. The fact they are made from a single piece really hit me as they look so realistic compared to different rods inserted into each other. Having accessibility to a lathe is a bonus in our hobby as you can be so creative and create various custom parts to use. If you have any online link to your exhausts or builds, feel free to share with us too.

Once again, thank you Jos and happy modelling.

Your work is amazing! Came across your website on the insta feed through banzai. I love the weathering techniques you had for the NSX and the red Recaros? look amazing! How did you get that felty finish on it?

Hi Laurence, thank you very much for your kind words about my work, very appreciated!

I'm glad you noticed all the extra details I added to the NSX and you like them! Well, the final finish was obtained with lots of patience and hard work. Most important thing is not rushing to finish it and giving it all the necessary time. The NSX took almost 9 months to finish, and the finish shown explains where all that time went into it! Thanks again :D

Hi karl your work is amazing and i like it. But do you sell ?

Hello Justin, thank you for your kind words about my work. That is very appreciated and I'm glad you like it.

Unfortunately the cars I build are for my own personal collection. Time is very limited for modelling for me, so I can't accept commissioned builds due to this. Thanks for showing interest in my work ;)

Just found your site but lm disappointed so many of your pictures are not available for viewing as I was looking for ideas on what to do when I start a model of my BRZ

Hi Jim. You are right being disappointed, because I am too. Photobucket did that to me after so many years hosting pictures with them. I even had a paid some time ago, but still my pictures were disconnected until I pay their ransom to unlock them! I'm working on re-uploading all pictures to my own webs account and re-hosting all of them. The tutorials section and current build are done, currently re-organising the Gallery pictures for re-uploading.

Hi Karl,

I've been following your work for a very long time and am always amazed at your talent. I'm a friend of Giulio :): )

I've always been wanting to ask you, do you build custom kits for customers? I have a mk3 Supra by fujimi and mk4 supra by tamiya and unfortunately I'm not cut out for these kind of things. It would be great if I can have them built up, especially the mk3 since I own one and would love to have a scale model replica of it.

Keep up the great work!

Hello Dalton, first of all many thanks for your kind words, that is very appreciated. I'm glad there's a local fan of my work :) Ohh Mr.Giulio.. amazing guy.. always amazed at his excellent collection :) Thank you Dalton for considering me to build your Supra's. I have never done commissioned work so far. Many people ask me that question but due to my very limited time to build cars, I always refuse such offers. It's not fair leaving a customer waiting for months until I find the necessary time to finish their cars. So for now, I'm sorry but I can't  build commissioned cars due to this. If I manage to squeeze more hours on the modelling bench, I'll definitely let you know Dalton.

And I have just checked your fb profile and your Mk3 Supra is absolutely amazing. What a lovely beast! Keep up the great work you've done to it, really like it from bottom to top. Well done :)

Regards,

Karl

Really like your subject matter i build/have built quite a few of the tamiya jdm style kits and the fit and finish of the parts is sexond to none nice work on all your endeavours i have seen thus far .just one question out of curiousity i have used the fine white tamiya primer and had great results just curious as to your use of the plasti kote primer instead thanks again for having the site look forward to seeing future builds from you

Hello Chuck, many thanks for your kind words about my work, that is very much appreciated :) Yeah I fully agree with you about the quality of the Tamiya kits, I also like their older.. JDM ones as considering their age, they go together quite well. Regarding the primer, I was using the Plasti Kote primer on my early builds, before starting to use the airbrush for the primer. I wouldn't recommend it though as the nozzle is too big and the finish was always quite rough. I would recommend you keep using the Tamiya primer. Some months ago I also used the Super Fine Primer from Mr.Hobby and was actually surprised at how smooth the finish turned out. I am currently using automotive primer, the 2K one. It requires some preparation, but I quite like the finish. But the Tamiya spray can is a much easier & faster option though! Hope that helps!

Hello Stuart, many thanks for your kind comments about my work and the site, that is very appreciated. I spend all the required time to finish a car as realistic and detailed as possible, so such comments really motivate me to continue building the same way.
